There’s a lovely article here that explains how scientists don’t know what makes up the vast majority of our universe. And if you think of this as far off and exotic, this means we don’t have a clue as to some 80% of what exists right around us. In this very room, 70% of what “is” is “Dark Energy.” Another 25% is made up of various forms of Dark Matter – meaning, I see and experience only about 5% of what is.
Knowing me, that figure seems awfully optimistic.
I don’t know about you, but we seem to act a bit too big for our britches – for a species that knows it knows so little.
