Sifting through stacks and stacks of resumes. Trying to imagine the person at the other end – details come through in the name, the place, the personal history – all that – but also in font choice, word choice, delivery options. There are those which are easy to separate out, those which are difficult to figure. Overwhelmed, I think I should just toss those in the pile also, but isn’t it worth a little effort to see these complex people, overwhelmed as they are, trying to finish school, line up a job, move, leave a way of life, friends, loved ones – and all for they-have-no-idea?
Sure it is. Soon as I get off spring break . . .
